The KIA dealer had jammed their filter in, and it was missing a bunch of air going right around it where it was scrunched up; on the reverse side, where the fins were squished together, no air was going through at all, and the fins were still totally white, no dirt. I'd say it was missing 25% of the air going through. It's a tight fit, but the one from Amazon went in well, it just has to be pushed in evenly and slowly. As to the quality, the KIA OEM has 33 fins or folds, the Amazon replacement has 20, so if well installed, it would not catch as much dirt. But at a quarter of the price of OEM, I'll just change it more often, spring and summer instead of once a year. Dealership wanted to charge $62 for a $11 filter, so did it myself. A bit annoying that stuff in the filter had popcorn in it but could have been emptied. They crammed it back in without dumping it and it would not have performed well being wrinkled going in. I got it in easily once I got the glove box "pried" open. I am sure they have a tool. Mine was called "determination". I think it works great!

It fits my 2017 Kia Soul. It's difficult to rate the filter as I just placed it in my car. It looks and feels like a quality filter. The airflow feels normal. The real test will be in a year when I replace it and see how much dirt & dust it kept from getting inside my car.

the size is slightly large for space which it was intended to fit.the unit had to be put in by moving it one end in then the other side by side....it fit....but its tight....removal must be accomplished by the same technique.....it should slide straight in with no lateral movement.

I followed the instructions and installed this on my Kia 2019 soul and it was a simple install and the filter works great. It saved me a hundred dollars as the dealer charges forty nine dollars for the filter and fifty dollars to install it
